Ximena Málaga Sabogal is a Peruvian filmmaker and visual anthropologist. After over a decade of ethnographic research and academic work in Peru, she turned her hand to documentary filmmaking at New York University and their Culture and Media program. Her films focus on identity, indigenous languages, and the daily life of Andean women.
Piotr Turlej
카토비체 영화학교를 졸업하고 폴란드 영화계에서 10년간 경력을 쌓은 피오트르 투를레이(Piotr Turlej)는 2013년 페루로 이주했다. 현재는 페루 푸노와 폴란드 크라쿠프를 오가며 활동하고 있다. 바르샤바의 바이다 스쿨(Wajda School) 개발 랩(2021)과 스크립트 과정을 수료했다. TV 시리즈 《시간의 영예(Time of Honor)》(TVP, 2011), 영화 《캄차카(Kamchatka)》(예지 코비니아 감독, 2013)를 비롯해 다수의 광고, 단편 다큐멘터리 등에서 조감독으로 참여했다. 페루와 미국에서는 독립 프로젝트의 편집자 및 카메라 감독으로 활동했다.
After finishing film school in Katowice and spending a decade working in the Polish film industry, in 2013 Piotr Turlej moved to Peru. Today he lives between Puno (Peru) and Cracow (Poland). He graduated from the Wajda School Development Lab (2021) and Screenwriters Programme (2022) in Warsaw. He has worked as assistant director in the TV series Time of Honor (TVP, 2011), the film Kamchatka (Jerzy Kowynia, 2013) and in multiple commercials, short docs and mixed formats. In Peru and the US, he worked as editor and camera operator for independent projects.
