Synopsis 시놉시스

A Mungyeong public official insists that wild tigers still live on the Korean Peninsula. People assume they must be in high mountains or deep caves, but he claims they live closer than we imagine. Why do we place tigers in remote, unseen places, convinced they are gone? The film follows the official into a dark cave, in pursuit of the tiger he witnessed, along with faceless boars and a deer that fell from a cliff.

한반도에 야생 호랑이가 살아있다고 말하는 문경시청의 공무원을 만난다. 그는 호랑이가 '지금도' 살아 있다고 한다. 사람들은 호랑이가 높은 산이나 깊은 동굴에 있을 것이라고 생각하지만, 그는 호랑이가 우리가 생각하는 것보다 더 가까운 곳에서 살고 있다고 말한다. 우리는 왜 호랑이를 높은 곳, 깊은 곳, 잘 보이지 않는 곳에 있다고 여기며, 그것이 없다고 믿었을까? 영화는 어두컴컴한 동굴 속 그가 목격한 호랑이와 얼굴 없는 멧돼지, 절벽에서 떨어진 노루를 따라간다.​
